I created the material functions, used a MatLayerBlend_Standard (tryed "_Simple" too), I checked the "use material attibutes" option and the "material attributes" node is not showing, appears "Customized UV5" instead and doesn't let me link the blended material output to it.
Glow is typically 2 things, a saturated middle, and a colored shadow. In 2d, this is a fade from White to your GlowColor to black/transparent. There were glowing text generators that were popular in the 90's/early 2000's. Google them and play around with their settings.
